My husband love sports, so I wanted to create a unique Father's Day card for him that echoed this passion. The idea of "All Star" Dad was going through my mind, so I went searching for some "All Star" inspiration and found a few ideas.

• star shape (I drew this one, but many software programs have a star shape that comes standard)
• circle shape
• dotted line
• sports-themed font - I used Princetown LET, available as a free download here.
• script font - I used Ballpark Weiner, available as a free download here.
Using the text path type tool in Photoshop and my sports-themed font, I was able to type my text on a circle that was enlarged to be just larger than my background circle shape. I typed each word separately, so that I could better control the spacing and alignment. Next, I typed the "#1" in white in a large script font and placed it right in the middle of my star.
I'm anxious for my husband to open his Father's Day card!

If you're looking for a fun and quick Father's Day card, try making an All Star card of your own! I'd love to see it if you do!
